  • Animal Science Image Gallery
    This site is designed to provide images, animations, and video for classroom and outreach learning. To supplement the visual information, each file has a description and metadata including the origins and ownership for the image. Each file in the Gallery has had at least two peer reviews to optimize the image and its metadata, and to ensure that the information is sufficient and accurate.
  • Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) Flickr collection
    Provides hundreds of illustrations on plants and animals from books digitized by BHL.
  • Bugwood Image Database System  
    Bugwood Images provides an easily accessible archive of high quality images for use in educational applications. It is made up of five major website interfaces. These are Forestry Images, IPM (integrated pest management) Images, Insect Images, Weed Images, and Invasive.org.

    The NAL Digital Collections offers one avenue by which customers can use collection materials available in digital format, whether those materials originated in that format or were converted to it later.
